Becoming a member of Nelson Bay has never been easier. Various categories of golf memberships allow you to match the cost with your use of the course. All golf memberships provide access to the club house facilities 7 days per week.
Membership categories include:

FULL PLAYING MEMBER (women & men)

Full playing and voting rights
Full use of Clubhouse facilities
Eligible for representative teams and club championship competitions
Early time sheet access
Maintain a GA handicap with access to a range of practice facilities

Golf Member
PLAYING MEMBER (Men & Ladies) • Unlimited play in Club Golf competitions and social golf upon payment of the daily competition/social member green fee. • Can obtain and maintain a Golf Australia handicap. • Eligible to stand for election to the Board of Directors and to nominate an eligible candidate. • Has full voting rights at all General meetings and elections of the Board of Directors. Annual Subscription – $1040 Entrance Fee* (one-off payment – applicable to Men only) – $1000 PROVISIONAL FULL MEMBER • Unlimited play in Club Golf competitions and social golf upon payment of the daily competition/social member green fee. • Playing right restrictions apply – bookings after 5 pm, five days prior to a Wednesday – (Saturday @ 5 pm) or Saturday – (Monday @ 5 pm) competition. • Can obtain and maintain a Golf Australia handicap. • Eligible to stand for election to the Board of Directors and to nominate an eligible candidate. • Has full voting rights at all General meetings and elections of the Board of Directors. Annual Subscription – $1040 Entrance Fee* (one-off payment – applicable to Men only) – $1000 *Please note that until further notice, female members are exempt from paying the Entrance Fee

Annual Subscription – $665 Entrance Fee – $500 *Please note that until further notice, female members are exempt from paying the Entrance Fee.
FLEXI MEMBER • Initial Membership Fee entitles members to 20 competition rounds (ineligible for Club Championships and other Honour Board events) upon payment of the applicable daily competition/social member green fee. • Further competition rounds can be purchased in lots of 10 for $350 • Unlimited social golf at Full Playing Members Green Fee rates. • Can obtain and maintain a Golf Australia handicap. • Cannot stand for election to the Board of Directors and has no Voting Rights Annual Subscription – $610 Entrance Fee* (applicable to male golfers only) – $500 *Please note that until further notice, female members are exempt from paying the Entrance Fee
COUNTRY MEMBER (Men & Ladies) • Place of residence must be beyond 80 kilometres radius from the Club. • Proof of residence in the form of a utility notice is required upon application/and request. • Limited to 20 Club Golf competitions (ineligible for Club Championships and other Honour Board Events) and unlimited social golf upon payment of the daily competition/social member green fee. • Can obtain and maintain a Golf Australia handicap. • Cannot stand for election to the Board of Directors and has no Voting Rights. Annual Subscription – $610 Entrance Fee* (applicable to male golfers only) – $500 *Please note that until further notice, female members are exempt from paying the Entrance Fee
LIMITED DAY MEMBER (Men & Ladies) • Play in Club Golf competitions conducted Monday, Thursday, and Friday after paying the daily competition/social member green fee. • Play in Club Golf competitions on all other days (except Club Championships and other Honour Board events), at Visitor’s Green Fee rates. • Can obtain and maintain a Golf Australia handicap. • Cannot stand for election to the Board of Directors and has no Voting Rights Annual Subscription – $610 Entrance Fee* (applicable to male golfers only) – $500 *Please note that until further notice, female members are exempt from paying the Entrance Fee
SOCIAL PLAYING MEMBER • Able to play 2 x 9 holes of social golf per week at Full Playing Member Green Fee rates. • Cannot obtain a Golf Australia handicap at Nelson Bay Golf Club. • Cannot stand for Board of Directors and has no Voting Rights. Annual Subscription – $445

Cadets & Juniors
JUNIORS: 18-20 YRS • Unlimited play in Club Golf competitions and social golf upon payment of the daily competition/social member green fee. • Can obtain and maintain a Golf Australia handicap. • 18-20yrs Eligible to stand for election to the Board of Directors and nominate an eligible candidate. • 18-20yrs have full voting rights at all General Meetings and elections of the Board of Directors. CADETS: UNDER 12 YEARS Eligible for an AGU handicap. Access to Club discounts and offers. You can play competition golf and social golf for seven days at the member’s green fee rate. Receive all rights of a Playing Member except voting rights. Annual subscription – $10.00

You will receive a birthday drink and other promotional vouchers in your birthday month and are eligible for any other Club promotions. Annual subscription – $30.00
SOCIAL / NON-PLAYING MEMBER: ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION For 12 months you are eligible for 10% discount on bar purchases and 5 % discount on meals.
