Becoming a member of Nelson Bay has never been easier. Various categories of golf memberships allow you to match the cost with your use of the course. All golf memberships provide access to the club house facilities 7 days per week.
Membership categories include:

FULL PLAYING MEMBER (women & men)

Eligible for representative teams and club championship competitions

Maintain a GA handicap with access to a range of practice facilities

Golf Member
PLAYING MEMBER (Men & Ladies) Golf can be played 7 days per week in competition and socially. In addition, you can play in Club golf competitions and social golf at Full Playing Members Green Fee rates. Full access to the Club’s facilities. Eligible for Club Championships, Honour Board events and voting at the Club’s AGM. Food and beverage discounts. Annual Subscription – $1005 Entrance Fee* (one-off payment – applicable to Men only) – $1000 PROVISIONAL PLAYING MEMBER (Men) Playing restrictions apply – bookings can only be made after 5pm the day before a Wednesday or Saturday competition. Please note, provisional members must book 5 days prior to their day of play. In addition, you can play in Club golf competitions and social golf at Full Playing Members Green Fee rates. Annual Subscription – $1005 Entrance Fee* (one-off payment – applicable to Men only) – $1000 *Please note that until further notice female members are exempt from paying the Entrance Fee
FULL PLAYING MEMBER – 21 to 35yrs (Men & Ladies) For those transferring to Full Playing Member – 21 to 35, payment and transfer will occur upon renewal of your annual subscription. This gives you unlimited play in Club golf competitions and social golf at Full Playing Members Green Fee rates. You can obtain and maintain a Golf Australia handicap. Eligible to stand for election to the Board of Directors and to nominate an eligible candidate, and have full voting rights at all General meetings and elections of the Board of Directors. Annual Subscription – $645 Entrance Fee – $500 *Please note that under further notice female members are exempt from pay the Entrance Fee.
FLEXI MEMBER Allows for the play of twenty (20) annual competition rounds, upon payment of the applicable competition fee. Flexi Members are ineligible for Club Championships and Honour Board events. Flexi Members can play unlimited social golf at the member’s green fee rate but do not have any voting rights. In addition, you can play in Club golf competitions at Full Playing Members Green Fee rates. There is a $500 one-off entrance fee (applicable to male golfers only) along with an annual subscription fee of $590. Extra competition rounds can then be purchased in lots of 10 for $350. Please also note that any remaining extra rounds will be carried over to the following year on payment of the aforementioned annual subscription. Annual Subscription – $590 Entrance Fee* (applicable to male golfers only) – $500 Extra competition rounds can be purchased in lots of 10 – $350 *Please note that until further notice female members are exempt from paying the Entrance Fee
COUNTRY MEMBER (Men & Ladies) Must provide proof of residence outside an 80km radius of Nelson Bay Golf Club. A limit of twenty (20) Club golf competition rounds per annum. Country Members are ineligible for Club Championships and Honour Board events. Unlimited social golf at the member’s green fee rate. Receive all rights of a Playing Member EXCEPT voting rights. LIMITED DAY MEMBER (Men & Ladies) Are entitled to play Social and/or in Club competitions on Monday, Thursday and Friday and maintain a Golf Australia Handicap. Fees charged for these games will be at members’ green fee rates. Limited Day Members are also able to enter all other club competitions at the Pro Shop the day after the appropriate time sheet opens. Play in competitions or social rounds outside Monday, Thursday and Friday means that fees will be charged at visitor rates. Limited Day Members DO NOT have any voting rights. Annual Subscription – $590 Entrance Fee* (applicable to male golfers only) – $500 *Please note that until further notice female members are exempt from paying the Entrance Fee
SOCIAL PLAYING MEMBER Allows two 9-holes of golf on separate days per week at members’ green fee rate. All additional golf played will be at visitor rates. No GA handicap can be obtained Annual Subscription – $430

You will receive a birthday drink and other promotional vouchers in your birthday month and are eligible for any other Club promotions. Annual subscription – $30.00
SOCIAL / NON-PLAYING MEMBER: ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION For 12 months you are eligible for 10% discount on bar purchases and 5 % discount on meals. You will receive a birthday drink and other promotional vouchers in your birthday month and are eligible for any other Club promotions. Annual subscription – $12.00
